Revision 42a
This is the first public release of these TeamTalk scripts for JAWS.
As such, there may initially be bumps and missing things. These are,
however, the scripts the author has been using for over a year by now.
Documentation of script usage and features can be viewed by typing
Insert+F1 twice in quick succession from within TeamTalk
while these scripts are running.
This script version is dynamic, meaning that updates to it will be made
"in place." Newer revisions will replace older ones, and I will add
change notes to this section as changes are made.
Here are the changes in release 4.2, most recent first.
In JAWS, use the h or 3 keys to move through
changes by release date, or Tab to jump straight to the
download links.
Revision 96, released May 2, 2012
- The installer works on non-English JAWS versions, though it will
still insist on installing into the English (enu) folder.
- There is a verbosity option for turning on/off the announcement of
chat message timestamps during use of Alt+numbers and
Alt+arrows. For this to work, timestamps must be enabled in
TeamTalk itself, which is true by default.
- Ctrl+Left/Right keystrokes, which were scripted to work
in channel chat windows, should again work as expected in other places
and should not cause focus to leave the channel chat window when
pressed, which was sometimes occurring.
- The word "denoising," which appears in a TeamTalk dialog or two,
is pronounced more accurately by JAWS.
Revision 85, released March 16, 2012
This is an update to fix some problems with the just-released TeamTalk
4 Classic version 4.3 client. This update includes the following
enhancements:
- The
SayLine command and Braille displays again
indicate user statuses like "sending" in the 4.3 channel tree.
- Toolbar icon statuses such as for Push-To-Talk and Voice
Activation report correctly in 4.3.
- The scripts properly handle switching among multiple
simultaneously open TeamTalk clients, even if they are of different
versions.
- Commands that toggle features on/off, such as Ctrl+Shift+T
(toggle Push-To-Talk), work properly now right after an
Alt+Tab between two running TeamTalk clients. (This problem
also existed in 4.1 and 4.2 clients.)
- The script revision number is included in the announcement
produced by Insert+Q.
Revision 80, released February 18, 2012
A JAWS freeze on Ctrl+Accent from a popup window, such as a
user's gain control window, is fixed.
Revision 78, released February 1, 2012
The commands for cycling among TeamTalk windows,
Ctrl+Accent and Ctrl+Shift+Accent, should not
stall on minimized chat windows anymore.
This update also completes localization preparations, so translators
can begin producing translated script versions by translating the jsm
files etc.
Revision 72, released January 16, 2012
- Fixed an error compiling on JAWS 11 and older (caught by Hamid AITOUZNAG (hamidgeni).
- The Users Guide is more up to date with respect to the features of
the scripts.
Revision 69, released January 15, 2012
